The culture of violence in politics

Please do not lead this society towards violence.

When Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shahbaz Gul reached the Lahore High Court, the PML-N workers who were already there threw eggs and ink at him. The culprit is currently in violation of the law. The Lahore High Court has also taken notice of the incident.

Shahbaz Gul then held a press conference. In this press conference, he clearly derailed, he was expected to do well. Is Pakistan's politics re-entering the nineties? Can Pakistan tolerate such aggressive politics in today's history? Before proceeding, this treatment of Shahbaz Gul should be condemned in the strongest terms.

Just a few days ago, a shoe was thrown at PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal during the Senate election and it hit him on the head. Then on the same day, at the same place, PML-N female leader Maryam Aurangzeb was also pushed, on which Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Musaddiq Malik also chased the activist. Natchez had said then, I still say that aggressive politics in Pakistan will have dire consequences.

Remember, when the PML-N leaders were attacked, the PTI leaders condemned them. But it was Shahbaz Gul who condemned the incident and encouraged it. He went and encouraged the workers and this tweet is part of the record. If the recent attack is seen in this context, does it not seem to be a reaction or retaliation?

Reiterate that these attacks on politicians are very wrong. Not only do they condemn, but they must declare their disassociation with those who carry out these attacks and take legal action against them. On the other hand, politicians also have to understand that if they abuse one-yard today, they will have to retaliate two yards tomorrow. After that, the relationship of mutual respect and esteem will end, on the other hand, hatred and enmity will also begin to arise.

Power is a very strange thing, that is why it is also called intoxication. Sitting in a chair, a person thinks that I am not going to leave so soon. But what happens? What happens is that the pens and chairs are changed and the government is also changed. When Pervez Musharraf took off his uniform due to intense public, international and political pressure, it seemed that the politics of violence and intolerance would now end in Pakistan. We felt the same way until Imran Khan reappeared on the political horizon. He re-entered politics, introduced the tradition of so-and-so, and our politics once again went back to the nineties.

The history after that is in front of everyone that in the politics of the moment there is only blame. Dirty and immoral language. It's rude. It's just to make others dirty. However, the principle is that whoever makes the accusation, the burden of proof is on him. As a result, hatred and contempt spread among the people and today there is a situation where the majority of the people do not even like to drink water from their opponents.

If even today the PTI takes this issue seriously, this issue is considered immediately and instead of showing the spark of oil, an attempt is made to extinguish this burning fire, then many things are expected to get better and dear country. It is possible to obstruct the ditch and the fire that politics is heading towards.

The PTI should also disassociate itself from such actions of its workers and all political parties, including the PML-N should decide and formally declare that any of their leaders, any member of parliament, any of their party leaders. He will not speak immorally against the other party and whoever speaks like that, the party will take severe disciplinary action against him.

The politicians of the present government should also think seriously about the point that these imported politicians will pick up their suitcases and leave the first available flight after some time. Remember where Shaukat Aziz & Co. is today? After this answer, think about what they will do. Under these circumstances, can they go to the polls in their constituency? The pillars of power are also strong, as one roof is weak, the pillars of power are under another roof. Therefore, please do not lead this society to violence.

The political stability of the past had not only all this but also weapons and corpses and I see this society going there again. I pray to God that I am wrong here, because we economically weak and oppressed people cannot afford unrest. So, instead of talking about these imported politicians, consider ground reality. Therefore, just as Nawaz Sharif was condemned for throwing a shoe, for example, Javed Latif was condemned for violence, for example, Ahsan Iqbal was condemned for being shot and then for being hit with a shoe, for example, for throwing ink on Khawaja Asif was condemned. Maryam Aurangzeb was condemned for being pushed, in the same way, the treatment meted out to Shahbaz Gul should be strongly condemned.

Pakistan's politics is a 'black sat' anyway. But even so, the system must have morality, civility and decency. We cannot afford the politics of hatred and revenge.
